It’s a crisp, cool morning. Einstein is exploring his yard and I’m sitting in my lawn chair at the end of the porch. When I walked out the cabin door, I was greeted by rays of light shining down on the yard and it took my breath away. The first time I came out this morning, it was still dark and I sat out here with the dog long enough to see the sky go from dark to dawn white. I heard the first bird of the day. Now it’s very blue (Shelley Blue, actually). The dew on the grass is so thick, it looks like diamonds. Inside, waiting for me is the warmth of a fire in the wood stove. The whole cabin is warm with it. When I walk in the door, it’s like wrapping myself in a blanket that just came out of the dryer.
Good morning, my friend!
