I spent several hours at the St. Clements Island Museum today, doing some filming for the documentary and learning to knit. What a great combination.
This little diorama has nothing to do with either the documentary or the knitting, but I liked it. I like that the man has his hand on his friend’s shoulder.
As for today’s drawing, it seemed appropriate to do something related to knitting. These are the hands of my instructor. She has wonderful hands and my drawing doesn’t depict that, but hey! It’s a fifteen minute drawing. The refinements get left off when you’re working fast. Also, I was working solely with charcoal this time. I wanted to use the blender. That’s my story. I love using the blender stump.
