The keets are just shy of two weeks old and are sporting some pretty swell feathers. True to their breed, they forage together and become alarmed when separated. Their cry when separated is much like that of a poult (baby turkey). They’ve learned to fly enough to get up on top of the hay bale. When one finds a bug, it runs in a frantic zig zag dash to keep the others from stealing the prize. However, when one pecks on the ground, several will come to see what’s there and join in.
